• Monitors product quality and freshness and ensures proper product rotation.
• Ensures cases and shelves are clean and well‑stocked.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep logs as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives at the workstation on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required training courses and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs in a timely manner, models suggestive selling techniques, answers store phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising products.
• Follows and ensures compliance with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment and equipment according to company cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or executive leadership.

• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself with various products.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver information clearly and respectfully to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures, with effective time management and organization skills.

• Understanding of and compliance with company quality goals.

• Must be able to lift up to 50/100 pounds.
• Ability to stand and/or bend over a worktable for the duration of the shift.
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Work requires bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
• Exposure to ADA‑approved cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to temperatures: < 32°F (freezing), 32‑40°F (refrigerators), >90°F.
• Ability to work in a wet and/or cold environment.
• Ability to use tools and equipment safely, including box cutters, knives, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, six‑wheel carts, balers, and other heavy machinery.

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Multilingual skills are a plus, particularly fluency in English.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills are required.

Full‑time: 40 hours per week;
Part‑time: up to 20 hours per week. Monday through Sunday, with weekends as needed.
