Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. As a Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Payable team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**   $16.00 - $21.00 per hour (DOE)

** Shift:
** M - F 8am - 5pm

** What's the Job?*
* + Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner

+ Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as they arise

+ Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions

+ Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts payable

+ Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

** What's Needed?*
* + Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role

+ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with McLeod Software is a plus

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines
