Administrative Assistant About the RoleAs an Administrative Assistant supporting the Community Bank President and leaders across Commercial, Residential, and Secondary Market Lending at Bank of Springfield, you will provide high-level administrative and organizational support to help these teams operate efficiently and effectively. This role will assist with scheduling, correspondence, documentation, reporting, customer service, recordkeeping, and special projects while working with a variety of leaders and teams throughout the bank.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Community Bank President and Commercial, Residential, and Secondary Market leaders.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, calendars, and other scheduling needs.
- Prepare, organize, scan, file, and maintain confidential documents and records.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other materials as needed.
- Assist with gathering information and documentation for lending, leadership, and operational needs.
- Assist with tracking deadlines, follow-ups, reports, and other administrative items.
- Answer and direct incoming calls and assist customers and internal team members with routine inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized files while handling confidential customer and bank information with discretion.
- Assist with special projects, events, and other administrative needs across the department.
- Work closely with leadership and internal departments to help ensure administrative tasks and requests are completed efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous administrative or banking experience preferred.
- Experience supporting executives, lending teams, or financial services is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional and courteous communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with leadership and team members.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

The salary range for this position is $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, compensation may include bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.
