Dental Hygienist – AA Dental Care, 407 S 48th Street, Quincy, Illinois 62305
Schedule- Monday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Tuesday 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
- Wednesday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Thursday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
Consistent patient schedule:
Average approximately 7 patients a day. 60‑minute recall, 90‑minute new patient appointment. 60‑90 minute SRP appointments, flexible to hygienist availability.
A collaborative 8‑person team at an 8‑operatory practice hosting two hygienists and one doctor during the week. Located on South 48th Street between State Street and Main Street, approximately 1.5 blocks south of 48th and Broadway.

- Current dental hygienist license in IL.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- New graduates and experienced hygienists welcomed.
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care.
- Ability to perform clinical tasks as required by the office.
Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the office/doctor. This includes prolonged periods of sitting and standing, lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds at times, and availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year. A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
