Travel RN – Cardiovascular (Night Shift)Location: Near Springfield, Illinois
Position Type: Travel | Nights | 1 Position Available
A highly regarded facility near Springfield is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular . Open heart experience is preferred. This role focuses on post-cardiac intervention and cardiac-critical patients in a supportive, well-staffed environment.
Patient Population- Post-PCI patients
- Post-CABG (Bypass) patients
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Active Illinois RN License
- ACLS certification
- BCLS (BLS) certification
- Experience titrating drips (required)
- Level II Trauma experience or higher
- Ability to interpret telemetry strips independently
- Open heart recovery
- Sheath pulling
- CRRT (Highly preferred)
- 24/7 Intensivist & Hospitalist coverage (MD & NP)
- Respiratory Therapy assigned to ICU/PCU 24/7
- Full respiratory equipment available (vents, CPAP, BiPAP, etc.)
- Dedicated Tele Monitor Tech on unit
- RNs responsible for interpreting strips
- Draeger monitoring system
