AboutThe Role
Quincy Medical Group is seeking an IT Support Specialist to help maintain reliable technology operations across our organization. The IT team supports approximately 1,200 employees in 15 locations, this role ensures staff have consistent access to the systems and tools needed to deliver patient care and manage daily operations.
This position plays an important role in reducing downtime, supporting new employee onboarding, assisting with technology upgrades, and maintaining a secure, stable IT environment. Success in this role requires strong follow-through, responsiveness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide frontline technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple clinic locations. Troubleshoot and resolve problems involving electronic health record systems, telephony, printers, workstations, and clinical equipment in a timely manner.
- Prepare and deploy equipment for new hires, ensuring proper setup and system access. Document service requests accurately and communicate updates clearly to team members and end users.
- Support ongoing technology initiatives, upgrades, and security updates. Participate in an on-call rotation to assist with urgent after-hours or weekend needs to help maintain business continuity.

- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Previous IT support experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare environment
- Experience supporting electronic health record systems (such as Epic) is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond with urgency
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
