Receiving & Delivery Specialist

As a Receiving & Delivery Specialist at Quincy Medical Group, you will help keep our clinics and departments running smoothly by ensuring supplies, equipment, and deliveries get where they need to go. You will receive and organize incoming shipments, deliver materials throughout QMG locations, maintain accurate records, and support the day-to-day needs of Supply Chain operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in being organized and dependable, and can work independently while providing excellent service to departments across the organization.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position, Monday-Friday, daytime hours, with some flexibility based on departmental needs.
- Active role involving receiving, organizing, transporting, and delivering supplies and materials throughout QMG facilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify deliveries for accuracy and condition.
- Sort, organize, and distribute supplies, packages, equipment, and other materials to the appropriate departments.
- Complete scheduled and as-needed deliveries throughout QMG locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate receiving, delivery, and inventory documentation using department systems and processes.
- Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining supply areas to ensure materials are readily available.
- Identify shipment discrepancies, damaged items, or supply concerns and communicate issues to the appropriate team member.
- Safely load, unload, move, and transport supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with departments and Supply Chain team members to respond to delivery and inventory needs.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized receiving and storage areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Supply Chain operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in receiving, delivery, warehouse, inventory, supply chain, or a related role preferred.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and complete deliveries efficiently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and transport supplies and equipment as required by the position.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required for delivery responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and receiving systems.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $15.35 - $21.93 per hour, with actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through bonuses and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
