Position Title:

Inspection & Inventory Associate

Wage: $15.00/hour + $2.00/hour Perfect Attendance Bonus

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

We are looking for a dependable and organized Inspection & Inventory Associate to help inspect, package, organize, and prepare lab coat orders with accuracy and care. Inspection & Inventory Associate Responsibilities:
  • Unpackage incoming shipments of lab coats and other products for inspection and processing
  • Inspect garments and products for defects, damage, stains, tears, missing components, or other imperfections to ensure products meet company and customer specifications
  • Verify products meet quality standards, appearance expectations, and order requirements
  • Accurately maintain inventory records and inspection documentation
  • Fold, package, label, and prepare customer orders according to order bills, packing slips, and shipping instructions
  • Ensure completed orders are accurate, properly packaged, and ready for shipment
  • Report quality concerns, damaged merchandise, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors promptly
  • Receive, organize, and store incoming products, supplies, and merchandise
  • Maintain organized storage areas using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices
  • Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying order accuracy and completing required documentation
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Move materials and products throughout the facility manually or using pallet jacks and carts
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work and storage areas at all times
  • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and operational guidelines
  • Assist with additional operational or inspection duties as assigned by management
Requirements for Inspection & Inventory Associate:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in inspection, inventory, shipping/receiving, production, retail stock, or material handling preferred
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, order forms, labels, and shipping documentation
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection and inventory tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team environment
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work overtime or flexible schedules as needed
  • Experience with inventory organization and order fulfillment preferred
  • Familiarity with FIFO inventory practices
  • Experience using manual pallet jacks and moving carts safely
  • Knowledge of basic shipping, packaging, and inventory procedures beneficial
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and product quality
  • Ability to identify product defects and inventory discrepancies
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments efficiently
  • Commitment to maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, talk, and hear throughout the shift
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle garments, packages, labels, and inventory materials
  • Frequent repetitive motions including folding, packaging, sorting, and organizing products
  • Ability to occasionally push/pull carts and manual pallet jacks
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
