If you are a hands-on leader who thrives on the shop floor, drives accountability, and delivers results through people, we want to talk to you. We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Supervisor to lead our Assembly operations at Hollister-Whitney, part of Vantage Elevation.

Position

Summary

As the Assembly Supervisor, you will own the day-to-day performance of the assembly floor—driving safety, quality, and production results while leading and developing a team in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This is a highly visible, hands‑on leadership role where you will be expected to remove barriers, solve problems, and deliver results.

Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Drive a culture of safety and accountability, ensuring adherence to Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and safe work practices
  • Lead daily assembly operations to meet or exceed production, quality, and delivery targets
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor to support employees and resolve issues in real time
  • Assign work, monitor workflow, and adjust staffing to meet production demands
  • Coach, develop, and hold employees accountable for performance and behavior
  • Address performance concerns through coaching and corrective action
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and applicable labor agreements
  • Partner with Production, Materials, Engineering, and Quality to ensure smooth operations
  • Identify and resolve production issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead safety discussions and reinforce expectations across the team
  • Maintain 5S standards and an organized, efficient work environment
  • Plan and manage production schedules to meet output and delivery expectations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required;
    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in a union environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of assembly processes and production workflows
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications
  • Proven leadership ability to drive performance, coach employees, and manage conflict
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Knowledge of safety standards and Lean Manufacturing principles preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems
