Responsibilities: Including the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products.
- Performs manual handling tasks, including placing and positioning cylinders in workstations.
- May be assigned to hand and remove cylinders from the production line; some positions perform this task continuously throughout the shift, while others perform little to no cylinder-handing depending on assignment.
- Operates lifting devices and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- May be assigned to use a grinder/buffer on cylinders; some positions perform this task continuously throughout the shift, while others perform little to no use of the grinder/buffer.
- Utilize handheld tools such as handheld screw guns, drill guns, and grinders.
- Monitor and inspect product quality to identify visual and structural defects, utilizing required gauges and established inspection criteria.
- Rotates between multiple workstations based on production needs.
