** About the Role
** As the Programs and Donor Relations Specialist, you will play an important role in advancing the Quincy Medical Group Foundation's mission and strengthening its impact throughout the communities we serve. This position combines charitable program coordination, donor relations, communications, and community engagement to support the Foundation's work.

You will oversee scholarship, grant, and patient assistance programs; help tell the story of the Foundation's impact; cultivate meaningful donor relationships; and support fundraising, events, and Foundation operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys both creative and relationship-focused work, and is passionate about making a difference in the community.
** Schedule & Work Environment
*** Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on Foundation activities.
* Attendance at scheduled Foundation events is expected, which may occasionally include evening or weekend hours.
* Local travel between QMG facilities and community events may be required.
** Primary Responsibilities
*** Coordinate Foundation charitable programs, including scholarships, patient assistance, grants, employee giving, and recognition initiatives.
* Administer program applications, communication, documentation, payments, and reporting while ensuring an organized and positive experience for participants.
* Support donor stewardship, cultivation, engagement, acquisition, and recognition through welcome communications, acknowledgments, thank-you correspondence, donor appreciation, and other relationship-building activities.
* Process charitable gifts, maintain accurate donor records, and coordinate donor acknowledgments and year-end tax receipting.
* Develop donor stories, fundraising content, and marketing materials that demonstrate the impact of philanthropic support and increase awareness of Foundation initiatives.
* Manage Foundation website and social media content, including content planning, copywriting, graphic creation, scheduling, storytelling, and impact reporting.
* Serve as staff liaison and secretary to the Foundation Board, supporting meeting materials, communication, and board activities.
* Support fundraising events and community initiatives through planning, logistics, volunteer coordination, sponsorship fulfillment, and event execution.
* Represent the Foundation through presentations, community outreach, and engagement opportunities.
* Provide administrative and project support for Foundation operations, fundraising activities, events, and special initiatives.
* Collaborate with employees, donors, volunteers, community partners, and organizational leaders to advance Foundation initiatives.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support Foundation operations and its mission.
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Strategic Communication, Journalism, or a related field required.
* Two or more years of experience in a nonprofit or 501(c)(3) organization preferred.
* Strong writing, storytelling, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Experience managing organizational or nonprofit social media platforms preferred.
* Experience creating marketing materials using Canva or similar design software.
* Experience with donor management or CRM software preferred.
* Experience with website management, including Word Press, preferred.
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn additional platforms and technology.
* Excellent organization, project management, customer service, and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
* Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential donor, patient, and organizational information.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for travel between facilities and events.
