The rn will deliver quality patient care by contributing to the patient#s plan of care from admission to discharge. Specific responsibilities include: preparing an assessment of the patient#s progress and keep the physician and family informed, monitoring pain management procedures, educating of patient and family, lead the discharge-planning process, ensuring current and accurate patient documentation, and delegating appropriately to ancillary staff members.
This position requires providing nursing services to one or more age populations, including adult through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. Job qualifications education/training/experience: required: graduate of an rn school of nursing excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred: 2-3 years rn experience. Bsn certification in specialty area when eligible license/certifications/special requirements: possesses current state rn license.
Completes basic cardiology course within 6 months of hire. Acls within 6 months of hire. 12 lead ekg course within 1 year of hire. Completion of annual skills validation.
