Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Emergency Room Nurse

Provide advanced nursing care in a busy Emergency Room setting, ensuring prompt and effective treatment for a diverse patient population. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
• Valid AHA ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
• Certifications in TNS or TNCC and NIHSS required.
• Ability to start immediately and work flexible shifts.
• Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma and Stroke Center preferred.
