Schedule: Full-Time | Daytime Hours | Every Other Weekend Availability Required
About the RoleHigh Point Residence Quincy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, resident-centered care while supporting the health, safety, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. You will work closely with residents, families, and other members of the care team to monitor resident needs, administer medications and treatments, and ensure individualized care is provided in a respectful and supportive environment.
Minimum QualificationsCurrent RN or LPN license in the State of Illinois
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Every other weekend availability
Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in assisted living, supportive living, skilled nursing, or long-term care
Experience working with seniors or individuals with varying levels of care needs
Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct resident health assessments and monitor changes in condition
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Document resident care, progress, and responses to interventions accurately and timely
Communicate changes in resident condition to the appropriate healthcare providers and leadership team
Collaborate with physicians, families, caregivers, and other members of the care team
Assist with the development and implementation of individualized resident care plans
Provide education and support to residents and families regarding health needs and care
Respond appropriately to resident needs, concerns, and changes in condition
Follow infection prevention, medication management, safety, and resident care protocols
Maintain compliance with community policies and applicable state and federal regulations
