Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Quincy, IL

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as an experienced Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. This contract role calls for compassionate, focused RNs who are dedicated to providing life‑saving care in fast‑paced ER environments. You'll collaborate closely with physicians, fellow nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions.

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience working in an Emergency Room setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical‑thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective during high‑pressure situations
• Experience with electronic health records is preferred

• Triage, assess, and prioritize patients in the ER
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop and update patient care plans
• Monitor, record, and report vital signs and changes in patient conditions
• Provide education and support to patients and their families during stressful situations
• Adhere strictly to infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols

$2,092 - $2,277/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
