Travel to Quincy, Illinois 62301, and join a compassionate inpatient behavioral health team as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse. - Shift: 12-hour nights
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 - $2,080
- Charting System: EPIC
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- No minimum years of nursing experience required
- BLS certification from AHA required
- NIHSS certification required
- Psychiatric nursing or behavioral health experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and de-escalation skills
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a secure inpatient psychiatric environment
- Provide direct nursing care to adults experiencing mental health and behavioral health challenges
- Support patient stabilization and treatment in a secure inpatient psychiatric unit
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and document care accurately in EPIC
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, behavioral health technicians, and discharge planners
- Assist with therapeutic activities, patient education, and coping skill development
- Promote a safe, respectful, and healing environment for patients and staff
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination to support successful transitions
