Part‑time, 19 hours/week. Pay $15.00/hr flexible shifts available – weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

At The Salvation Army Family Store in Quincy, you’ll support vital community programs while building valuable skills in retail and customer service.

• Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Sort, price, and organize donated items.
• Keep shelves stocked and maintain clean, attractive displays.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Help with store security and loss prevention.

• Friendly, dependable, and team‑oriented.
• Able to stay organized and multitask in a busy retail setting.
• Physically able to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
• Detail‑oriented with a positive attitude.

Previous retail or customer service experience is a bonus – but not required!

The Quincy Area Command serves Adams, Pike and Brown counties in Illinois and Marion, Ralls, Lewis, Shelby and Monroe counties in Missouri. Our services include emergency housing, case management, food assistance through our fully stocked food pantry and daily breadline, emergency disaster services and weekly church ministries. These services are supported through generous donations and revenue from the Hannibal and Quincy Family Stores.
