Job Summary

To provide the best customer service and maximize sales through efficient execution of Company procedures.

Essential Functions
  • Help customers with special order inquiries and merchandise location.
  • Provide customers with relevant product information that may be beneficial and welcome each customer within 10 feet.
  • Verify proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise in multiple departments.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Farm & Home web-based Intranet and the Outfitter.
  • Remove damaged merchandise from floor as needed.
  • Review and correct outages and overstocks to supply proper inventory levels.
  • Follow company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads and sale signage.
  • Identify and display of new items at their designated location in department with Management approval.
  • Demonstrate strong merchandising presentation skills for in-aisles, end caps and displays.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment, while following loss prevention and safety procedures
  • Perform regular Area Safety checks.
  • Attending store and job-related meetings along with reviewing the F&H Weekly Update.
  • Professionally communicating with Customers, Management, and all store employees.
  • Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Assist with price changes, markdowns & labeling of merchandise.
  • Operate cash registers and assists with customer carry outs.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Weightlifting capability up to and including 80 lbs.
  • Maintain and control organized stock room area.
  • Complete required on-line job training available via our web-based Outfitters program.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Completing special projects directed by management and additional responsibilities may be assigned throughout the store at any given time.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum Age requirement is 18 years old.
  • Must possess great customer service and communication skills.
  • Six months of previous retail experience is preferred.
  • Positive attitude with a passion for collaborating with Team Members that want to grow.

Pay Range: $15.50 - $19.00/hr
