Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Position Summary
As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what members love, for less. You will work collaboratively with associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.
ResponsibilitiesBe a Team Member
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Communicate and utilize interpersonal skills for customer service, remain flexible to business needs, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage.
Be an Expert
Plan bakery production to ensure consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs. Follow recipe measurements and instructions when decorating bags, tips, nozzles, flowers, lettering, and other bakery items. Adhere to food safety, sanitation, cold‑chain, and inventory standards while operating, maintaining, and sanitizing equipment.
Be a Techie
Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve member experience. Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind. Encourage use of new tools.
Be an Owner
Drive bakery area performance, ensuring quality and date control standards. Eliminate waste, prepare for seasonal events (holidays, graduations, family events) that impact volume, identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues and concerns.
Be a Talent Ambassador
Advocate the brand by valuing the member experience and modeling high‑quality service. Work with associates to understand roadblocks, support training, influence, and inspire them to work respectfully, supportively, and team‑oriented.
Comply with Company Policies
Adhere to policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Use the Open Door Policy and related action plans to execute business processes and practices.
Manage Work Assignment Priorities
Complete assignments using policies, data, resources, and collaboration. Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and recommend improvements.

Compensation and BenefitsHourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00, exceeding local minimum wage. Premiums may add $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
