Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate at Ashley Furniture, you will establish rapport with customers and drive sales in a furniture retail environment. You will provide expert product recommendations, identify opportunities for additional sales, and guide customers through the entire purchasing journey—from product selection to financing and delivery options.

• Engage customers in a professional, friendly, and consultative manner to understand their furniture and home décor needs.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide outstanding service throughout the sales process.
• Educate customers on product features, quality, warranties, financing programs, and delivery services.
• Guide customers through the showroom and online product offerings to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals, performance metrics, and commission targets.
• Follow up with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of current products, promotions, and sales programs.
• Accurately complete sales transactions and customer documentation.
• Support showroom presentation by maintaining merchandise displays and overall store appearance.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Demonstrate and uphold company values and professionalism at all times.
• Successfully complete all required training and development programs.

• Sales experience is preferred; willing to train.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Enjoys interacting with others and sharing knowledge.
• Focused, ambitious sales professional.
• Thrives in a fast paced, high-energy environment.
• Familiarity with computer‑based inventory and sales systems.
