Area Sales Manager – Quincy, IL Area / West Division Full-Time | Exempt | Quincy, IL Marketing Area The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, excellence, and operational performance amongst their sales team. We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our business within the Quincy, IL market. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, strengthening key customer relationships, and developing a high-performing team in a fast-paced, big-box retail environment.

This role combines leadership of a sales team, customer relationship management, retail execution, and business development to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining the high service standards Lewis Bakeries is known for.

Key Responsibilities Key Account Management Lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve and exceed sales volume and performance targets

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in a big-box retail environment

Recruit, train, and develop merchandisers to meet customer expectations and business objectives

Monitor market trends and competitor activity; provide insights and recommendations to leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of three years of sales experience within consumer-packaged goods (CPG), food manufacturing, wholesale distribution, or Direct Store Delivery (DSD).Experience managing, leading, and driving a sales team is preferred.
