Accounting Senior; CAAS - Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry

CLA is currently seeking a Senior to join our CAAS (Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry) group in our Quincy MA office.

• Client Service:
  Develop an understanding of each client's business/organization operations. Competent in management of multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Day to Day Transactions:
  Lead coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
• Month End Processing:
  Coordinate and review account reconciliations. Complete complex account reconciliations. Prepare, understand, and review financial statements. Review general ledger, cashflow, allocations, and create process documentation.
• Other Quarterly/Annual Processing:
  Complete sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepare audit work papers, tax return work papers, and other items as requested by clients.
• Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts. May supervise and ensure the efficiency and quality of work produced by Associates and Analysts.
• Special Projects:
  Assist with projects for internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
