Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk will perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

• Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal , scheduling, and preparing checks.
• Resolves purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
• Assists in vendor statement reconciliation.
• Facilitates payment of vendors, including verification of federal .
• Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment and identifies discount opportunities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by AP Supervisor.

• Reliable and extremely trustworthy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with PDI Enterprise a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
• High school diploma required;
  Business or Accounting degree preferred.
