Property Accountant

We are partnering with a real estate company in Quincy, MA area who is looking to add a Property Accountant to their team. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting of a portfolio of properties, including month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations while partnering closely with property management teams.

• Manage the accounting for an assigned portfolio of properties
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
• Review and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit support
• Work closely with property managers to resolve accounting issues
• Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2-4+ years of property accounting experience
• Strong month-end close and General Ledger experience
• Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Property accounting experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Compensation: $75K-$90K depending on experience
