Summary
SAS Coordinator Space and Assortment. This entry‑level role supports space and assortment departments, providing valuable exposure to space planning. The position may involve working with building software, but it offers a well‑rounded introduction to space planning processes and industry practices.
Responsibilities- Providing support to Space and Assortment planning teams, working independently while interacting with team and clients when necessary.
- Maintaining and updating data and information in assorted tools to ensure consistency and accuracy for the department.
- Supporting work in Space and Assortment building software under supervision.
- Learning to understand Space and Assortment planning initiatives and exploring innovative solutions to support customer goals.
- Learning basic client/customer strategies to support the department.
There are no direct or indirect supervisory responsibilities for this position.
Travel is not an essential duty of this job. Driving is also not required.
Minimum QualificationsEducation Level: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Field Of Study / Area Of Experience- 1–2 years of experience in merchandising and planogram development.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers.
Experience with merchandising or knowledge of planograms or floor plans is preferred but not required.
Organizational and multitasking abilities are beneficial.
Environmental &Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary. Incumbent must perform essential job functions primarily in an office. Requires sitting for extended periods (66%+ of each day), hearing telephone conversations, entering data on a computer, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
