Reporting to the Business Transformation Director – Data, this role serves as the primary reporting and analytics lead for their domain within the Business Transformation team.
This lead will own the reporting and analytics needs for end users, translating business requirements to guide product and tech teams in alignment with our reporting strategy.
They will partner with the Organizational Readiness team to transition from current‑state to future‑state reporting, and collaborate with third‑party vendors to meet data timelines and quality thresholds.
This is a full‑time, dedicated role for the duration of the transformation program (estimated 5‑7 years).
Work schedule includes 3 in‑person days at a core location and 2 remote days.
- Serve as the primary reporting and analytics lead, owning the data migration effort within the assigned domain; set strategic data and reporting direction.
- Manage a roadmap of reporting initiatives and partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver on this roadmap, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.
- Act as a liaison between domain SMEs and the data architecture team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with Reporting and Insight managers to identify data‑driven optimization opportunities.
- Ensure alignment and integration of data transformation efforts with broader business strategies.
- Identify KPIs, develop metrics to track effectiveness of data transformation initiatives.
- Oversee selection, set‑up, and oversight of multiple tools and systems that support simulation and optimization.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing insights and recommendations.
- Establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results.
- Facilitate open dialogue with contributors and stakeholders.
- Model partnership behaviors, build cross‑functional connections, and develop industry‑leading expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
- 6+ years of relevant experience; preference for retail and/or grocery.
- Proficient in data analytics principles and ability to partner with SMEs and data architects.
- Effective communication skills bridging business and technical language.
- Proven success in defining and operationalizing future‑state business processes and value realization strategies.
- Ability to leverage data to analyze complex problems and create business‑impact solutions.
- Highly collaborative with experience partnering, influencing, and negotiating.
- Strong relationship building to drive adoption of new processes and tools.
- Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes and sustaining value post‑implementation.
- MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Analytics or similar discipline.
- Progressive experience in business data management, domain leadership, or enterprise transformation.
- Direct experience with SAP S/4
HANA or comparable ERP platforms.
ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $120,960 – $181,440
IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $139,120 – $208,680
