We are looking for a Pricing/Promo Analyst who wants to be part of our Analytics team and partners with the merchant teams to translate analytics and strategy into pricing and promos for our customers. In this role you will collaborate with merchants leveraging our data‑rich environment to maintain and transform our pricing and promos. The pricing/promo team has a strong track record of promoting team members across the organization.
Responsibilities- Develop deep knowledge of pricing analytics, strategy, and execution to deliver our pricing/promo objectives and margin goals
- Provide insights and inputs for development of overall company Pricing/Promo Strategy; produce post‑event analytics to track and monitor results
- Support day‑to‑day execution of pricing/promo activities
- Become a recognized subject‑matter expert in pricing/promo to assist business partners with clear and actionable recommendations based on in‑depth understanding and interpretation of analytics results
- Provide feedback to support team members and merchant teams, driving continuous improvement and change
- Provide insights to senior management for decisions involving base price and promotional activity
- Develop, analyze, and manage price and promotion financial results
- Deliver strategic and holistic pricing and promotional analytics to leadership
- A passion for learning and continuous improvement
- 3‑5 years combined experience in retail, category, merchandising, pricing, finance, or business analytics
- Strong MS Excel skills with understanding of data structures, relationships, and integration patterns
- Experience working with large data sets and translating data into business analytics and insights
- Experience with Revionics or other price/promotion solutions is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
