About the roleWe're looking for a Solar Construction Project Manager on behalf of our client. This is a 2‑month contract assignment (W‑2). The applicant must be familiar with NYSERDA and EPC project management.
You will report to the onsite manager.
Key Responsibilities- Site management, overseeing ground‑mounted system installation and coordinating with contractors to meet local Avon, NY solar regulations.
- Grid interconnection: manage the technical aspects of connecting high‑capacity solar systems with the solar farm.
- Handle project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and team communication from development through commissioning.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with technical installation on commercial solar systems.
- Strong ability to read and understand solar energy system drawings and schematics.
- A two or four‑year technical degree.
- Experience with Helioscope or similar solar design software.
- Background managing commercial solar projects from 50 kW to 1.5 MW scale.
- Familiarity with utility interconnection processes and AHJ permitting.

We offer competitive pay. The base salary range for this position is estimated to be $40.00 /hr to $45.00 /hr. This range is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
