Division Operations Lead, Maritime Engineering

Quincy, Massachusetts, United States

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center.

As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

About The Team

Anduril's Maritime Division, one of Anduril's fastest growing divisions, has assembled a diverse team of experts in software, robotics, artificial intelligence, sensor fusion, and data analysis to create software and hardware solutions that radically evolve the capabilities of our customers. We are fielding the next generation of autonomous systems to tackle the extremely challenging industry demands of maritime operations. Anduril has brought to market a unique, ultra-long-range, full-ocean-depth underwater vessel platform and a completely refreshed maritime vehicle and flexible manufacturing architecture that scales from "small" to "extra-large" vehicle sizes.

Today, Anduril is executing on billion-dollar contracts while simultaneously performing Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) AUV operations. We are seeking to sustain our early successes with deep investment in an expanded product portfolio. These products, including Dive-XL, Dive-LD, Copperhead, Seabed Sentry, and other unannounced systems, will deliver a coherent system-of-systems, enabling the end-to-end conduct of a variety of autonomous missions in the maritime domain.

If you are passionate about solving problems that have real impact and working on systems that directly contribute to achieving national strategic priorities, we want you to join Anduril's Maritime Division and help us build the future of defense capability.

About The Job

We are looking for a Division Operations Lead to join our rapidly growing Maritime Division Operations team in Quincy, MA. In this role, you will specifically be responsible for supporting our cross-divisional Chief Engineering office. The Maritime Division Operations team is a small but mighty team of talented business generalists who enable the division to scale through hyper-growth while breaking as few things as possible.

We're looking for someone to help us build out the business infrastructure required to grow this into Anduril's largest division over the next few years. Our goal is to fundamentally reshape the way future peer to peer conflicts are fought by developing next generation undersea and surface capabilities — such as our XL-AUV, Copperhead, and Seabed Sentry platforms.

What You'll Do
  • Lead various strategic initiatives and special projects, as directed by the Division Chief Engineer and the Head of Division Operations, to establish scalable operations and forward progress across a portfolio of engineering initiatives
  • You will act as the connective tissue — supporting design, development, and implementation of new processes, strategy, projects, and execution plans — across complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and often 'gray area' scope
  • Coordinate and prepare for leadership meetings, including setting agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-through
  • Support internal team operations like new employee onboarding, all hands, internal business reviews, and other events so that we rapidly ramp new employees and maintain a culture of "doing things differently"
  • Support our corporate planning cycle by helping to build out and monitor performance against goals, financial plans, and headcount plans so we can hit our aggressive growth targets
  • Establish the operating model and battle rhythm for a rapidly growing the team with an emphasis on cross-division coordination and repeatable…
