Hours:

The Retail Banker I is a customer liaison who delivers TD’s brand promise by using financial expertise and consultative advice to help customers find the right banking solutions. This role enhances business objectives by identifying and promoting appropriate TD products and services that enable customers to achieve their financial goals.
Responsibilities- Establish and nurture customer relationships, displaying product knowledge and actively listening to customer needs.
- Make product recommendations that address customer goals and highlight benefits, thereby supporting customers through life events.
- Use CRM tools to assess customers proactively, identify solutions, and engage in outbound sales activities.
- Resolve customer issues independently, escalating when necessary; communicate complex information clearly.
- Participate in customer outreach, servicing, and advisory activities to deliver on TD’s “human” promise.
- Engage customers in loan conversations, facilitate application intake, and maintain active registration with NMLS.
- Perform teller‑type transactions (check cashing, deposits, transfers, withdrawals) while monitoring fraud mitigation and following operational policies.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of customer‑oriented sales experience (volunteer, education, military, or prior teller experience preferred).
- Ability to complete teller training upon hire.
- Strong organizational, communication, scheduling, and independent work skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Notary license preferred.
- Customer Accountabilities: Deliver legendary experience, build trust with educational content, provide consultative support, advocate for customers, resolve issues, and guide self‑service options.
- Shareholder Accountabilities: Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational policies, support accurate transaction documentation, and contribute to operational excellence.
