Lead Consultant – ERP Transformation (Hybrid, Greater South Shore MA Area)

A leading consumer goods organization is embarking on a major enterprise-wide Dynamics 365 Fin Ops transformation and is seeking a Lead Consultant to drive this multi‑phase program from planning through go‑live. This highly visible role will shape how Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and HR work together by ensuring the D365FO
platform becomes the backbone for long‑term growth. You will act as the central link between business stakeholders, cross‑functional teams, and the system integrator.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead an end-to-end Dynamics Fin Ops implementation across planning, design, data migration, testing, training, and stabilization.
  • Define scope, deliverables, timelines, governance, and success metrics.
  • Partner with leaders across multiple functions to align business needs with ERP capabilities.
  • Serve as the bridge between teams, facilitating alignment, decisions, and issue resolution.
  • Manage system integrators, vendors, and consultants to ensure accountability.
  • Oversee documentation, process mapping, configuration reviews, and readiness activities.
  • Drive UAT, change management, training, and post‑go‑live support.
  • Maintain risk logs, change controls, project reporting, and administrative workflows.
  • Ensure the ERP delivers measurable improvements in visibility, efficiency, and operational excellence.
What You Bring
  • 7+ years of project management experience, including 3–5 years leading Tier 1 ERP implementations.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fin Ops experience is required.
  • Strong background working with system integrators and managing complex, multi‑million‑dollar projects.
  • Ability to balance strategic conversations with hands‑on execution.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of how ERP systems support Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and HR.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
  • Skilled in documentation, governance, risk management, and cross‑functional coordination.
