Overview

Position Title: Architect, Business Solution
Job Type: Regular
Summary: The Business Solution Architect supports and evolves the enterprise architecture vision, participates in long‑term strategy, governance, and guides technical direction across the organization. Works within an agile framework, collaborating with cross‑functional squads to integrate systems and deliver reliable, scalable solutions aligned with the End‑to‑End Enterprise Architecture Strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Document and maintain comprehensive solution‑level views that illustrate how current business capabilities and functional requirements are supported through integration of people, processes, and technology assets.
  • Provide expert advisory and guidance to business units and key stakeholders regarding emerging and existing technology capabilities, ensuring alignment with the Enterprise Architecture Strategy.
  • Establish and define strategic technical targets for core business capabilities, fostering reliability and agility.
  • Participate in architectural design and create multi‑year technical roadmaps to achieve strategic targets.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to translate critical business requirements into robust, scalable solution designs.
  • Contribute technical expertise to product evaluations, lead integration specification reviews, and facilitate informed solution selection.
  • Work with security, technical, network, and data architects to develop solutions that adhere to the Enterprise Wide Strategic Technical Vision.
  • Conduct project reviews to ensure compliance with architecture standards, roadmaps, patterns, and governance guidelines before final approval.
  • Maintain continuous research focus on industry trends and vendor developments, leveraging technology to identify new business opportunities.
  • Uphold personal health and safety standards and comply with company Health & Safety policies.
  • Ensure that technical solutions resolve issues promptly and meet customer expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Business Architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, ideally both wireline and wireless.
Professional Experience
  • Extensive experience with API development and integration across Business Systems (CRM, OSS, BSS, Finance, Product Catalogue) and third‑party integrations (payment, provisioning, fulfillment, inventory).
  • Front‑end, billing, and CRM expertise.
  • Experience with Service Now capabilities and eCommerce, including catalogue management and buy‑flow.
  • Omni‑channel application and architecture knowledge (web and call centre).
  • Proven track record in driving architectural support for high‑priority transformation and digital initiatives (mobile service evolution, call center technology replacements).
  • Experience in AI modernization, supporting AI squads, integrating AI models into applications, and managing complex integrations between front‑end tools and OSS/BSS platforms.
Required Skills
  • Drive solutions aligned with end‑to‑end Enterprise Strategic Architecture.
  • Lead strategic and technological planning, including long‑term technical targets and roadmaps.
  • Translate complex business needs into reliable, agile, and viable solutions.
  • Apply financial assessments to architecture solutions for cost‑effectiveness.
  • Understand and challenge vendor estimates, propose alternatives, and manage change requests.
  • Knowledge of architecture concepts (e.g., SOA) and leading telecommunications practices, including AI evolution.
  • Cloud architecture experience, familiarity with AI governance solutions, and automated tracking of AI systems.
  • Knowledge of TMForum frameworks; TOGAF certification is a significant asset.
