Tier 4 Group is seeking a Senior AWS System Administrator/Dev Ops Engineer to support and modernize a mission-critical healthcare application environment. This role combines hands-on infrastructure support with cloud transformation initiatives, including rebuilding legacy applications into a scalable, cloud-native AWS architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Administer AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Cloud Watch)
Manage RHEL servers and Web Logic environments
Support Java/J2EE applications and Oracle RDS
Automate operational processes using Shell and Python scripting
Implement CI/CD and containerization best practices
Lead POC efforts for application modernization, including Web Logic-to-JBoss and Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration initiatives

Requirements

15+ years of System Administration and/or Dev Ops experience
Strong AWS, RHEL, Web Logic, and Oracle expertise
Experience with Git Lab, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
Healthcare or regulated-industry experience is a plus
