Position SummaryThis position will manage system demand forecasts and planning for up to 10,000 SKUs across all stores, at the item/warehouse/store/day level. It involves statistical forecasting, data master maintenance, integration with legacy systems, and collaboration for vendor, display, promotion, and event planning. The role supports Relex (F&R) workflows, seasonal/transitional strategies, and assists procurement initiatives such as diverting, forward buying, and efficiency programs.
WorkSchedule
Flexible/hybrid: 3 in‑person days at a core location and 2 remote days. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure forecast and replenishment system accuracy for the assigned product line.
- Use advanced statistical analysis to reduce system errors and avoid manual adjustments.
- Resolve forecasting exceptions through root‑cause analysis for promotional and turnover products.
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly Relex workflows to reduce forecast error.
- Collaborate with In Stock Analysts and Demand System Specialists to align on trends and strategies.
- Provide forecast data to vendor partners (private brands team).
- Perform sales correction troubleshooting and determine effective corrections (stockout, campaign, manual).
- Work with Category teams on ad promotions, special programs, and holidays.
- Review baseline forecasts and BIAS, addressing low accuracy or bias issues.
- Update master data and parameters for terminating products.
- Follow up on forecasts for new store locations.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support business needs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related business field, or equivalent work experience.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience.
- Demand management practices.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Working knowledge of Supply Chain processes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

IL/MA/MD/NY: $72,880–$109,320
Actual compensation varies based on qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions.
