Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Quirk's Commercial Truck Center in Quincy, MA is seeking an experienced heavy equipment mechanic for our busy Service Department. Quirk has opportunities for inspired and motivated individuals who have the desire and passion to succeed. Compensation will be based on experience, however, we are always willing to train the right candidate!

• Basic maintenance - oil changes, filters, basic hydraulic repairs
• Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed
• Maintaining equipment we have within the company

• Experience operating Front end loaders
• 1-year prior experience with heavy equipment servicing - front end loaders, trailers, equipment
• Licensed to operate machinery
• Experience with Volvo / Case / CAT equipment a plus
• Experience with trailers a plus
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers
• Assess individual client needs and think of innovative ways to get results
• Experience in managing and organizing work time and work-related activities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude
• Strong willingness to learn

Full Time - Health, Dental, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, and Critical Illness Insurance. Quirk will provide at no cost to you, Basic Life Insurance and an AD&D policy of $20,000. All other benefits are optional and will be offered to you at a cost.

Part-Time - eligible to participate in Quirks 401k plan after you've reached your waiting period.
