Overview
Trillium Construction is hiring for Machine Operators in the Quincy, MA area!
This is a direct hire opening with great benefits and opportunity from a reputable company that's been around for 30+ years.
Responsibilities- Operate a computerized control system on one or more refinery systems (hydrolyzer, fractionator, O/S, Stills, Evaporation Trains, Glycerin Refinery and other ancillary systems) to safely produce quality fatty acids per customer specifications.
- Assist with startup processes by turning valves, moving handles, observing display screens, and making adjustments to bring product into proper specs.
- Perform safety inspections on machines and cleanup of assigned working areas.
- Participate in routine maintenance work as needed.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Manufacturing experience; previous machining experience is a plus.
- Frequent walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, carrying objects.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Able to follow customer specifications and think on the fly.
Pay range: $22-26 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule:
6:00 AM–6:00 PM with day or night shifts. Night shift is 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. Night shift differential: $3 per hour. Rotating weeks:
Week 1 — Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat;
Week 2 — Sun, Wed, Thu. 48 hours first week and 36 hours second week.
