Job OverviewUnder supervisory direction, the employee functions as a member of a production team with the goal of assembling required components, operating equipment, inspecting in-process medical devices/kits, and maintaining the quality and integrity of the products. The primary focus is to build product by following processes to meet production goals and to communicate clearly with co-workers both in speech and in writing.
Responsibilities- Build product by following all certified processes and completing other assigned work while meeting production goals and metrics.
- Ensure quality and 100% adherence to manufacturing process requirements, the Boston Scientific Corporation Quality Policy, and the Strategic Quality Process (SQP).
- Proactively identify and communicate quality issues and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records, including training and shop floor paperwork (DHR).
- Participate in shared responsibilities and tasks.
- Champion the “flex strategy,” rotate as necessary, and work well with group members within the team and cross‑functionally.
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken communication.
- Use computers at a basic level.
- Lift up to 35 lbs occasionally; stand, bend, and reach as required.
- Understand and apply Core 5 Metrics in relation to the daily tasks.
- Possess working knowledge of all processes in the assigned area and ensure compliance with BSC, site‑specific, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Attend and pass all required core BSC and site‑specific training (e.g., QS Basics, GDP, cGMP).
- Participate in team meetings, site internal audits, and third‑party inspections.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor, Production Manager, and/or Quincy Site Leadership.
- 1 year of related experience.
- High school diploma, degree, or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a regulated work environment.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment requiring high accuracy.
- Light assembly skills and order picking.
- Material handling experience.
Minimum Salary: $33,488
Maximum Salary: $56,888.
- Candidates may be required to pass a prohibited substance test.
- For U.S. positions that call on hospitals or health care centers, proof of COVID‑19 vaccination may be required.
