Company Overview

Based in St.Louis, Core & Main is a specialty distributor focused on water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection products and services.

Fabricators manufacture specialized products using raw materials, tools, and manual skills, meeting customer specifications and preparing finished orders for shipment.

• Examine customer order specifications using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine finished item characteristics, materials, and machine setup requirements.
• Fabricate work pieces according to work order specifications, retrieving correct materials and performing various fabrication duties.
• Verify dimensions and quality using tape measure, calipers, gauges, or visual inspection to ensure product meets standards.
• Package completed items for shipping and install protective devices such as bracing, padding, or strapping.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, free of trash and properly stored products.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in fabrication or related field; experience with fabrication shop equipment and metalworking preferred.
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Knowledge of safety policies and quality control standards.

$19.72 – $26.29 per hour.
