Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Permanent Pipe Welder (TIG) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding carbon steel and TIG root, with a minimum of 5 years of pipe welding experience. This role requires technical proficiency, a passion for precision and safety, and the ability to support smooth, efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG welding operations on carbon steel pipes in accordance with specified procedures and standards.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand welding requirements and set up welding equipment accordingly.
  • Conduct inspections of welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain and repair all welding equipment and fixtures.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of protective equipment.
  • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and solve welding issues.
  • Ensure work is done accurately and efficiently to minimize waste and downtime.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to maintain current knowledge in the field.
  • Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in TIG welding, specifically with carbon steel and TIG root.
  • A proven track record of interpreting and following blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.
  • A valid welding certification is a significant advantage.
