Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Permanent Pipe Welder (TIG) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding carbon steel and TIG root, with a minimum of 5 years of pipe welding experience. This role requires technical proficiency, a passion for precision and safety, and the ability to support smooth, efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding operations on carbon steel pipes in accordance with specified procedures and standards.

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand welding requirements and set up welding equipment accordingly.

Conduct inspections of welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Maintain and repair all welding equipment and fixtures.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of protective equipment.

Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and solve welding issues.

Ensure work is done accurately and efficiently to minimize waste and downtime.

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to maintain current knowledge in the field.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in TIG welding, specifically with carbon steel and TIG root.

A proven track record of interpreting and following blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Demonstrated proficiency in using manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment.

Strong knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.

A valid welding certification is a significant advantage.
