Job Summary

Shields Health is seeking a Marketing Coordinator who is willing to work hard and grow with our company. This is an ideal position for a self-starter who learns by diving into exciting, goal-driven marketing, sales and PR activities - from sales events to social media - every day. The successful candidate will have a passion for marketing as well as possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate creativity, all of which will be put to good use at our fast-paced, growing company.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Director of Marketing for the Shields’ network, this person will work in cooperation with Shields’ sales and marketing teams and be responsible for:

Job Description What you will do
  • Provide administrative support to Chief Marketing Officer and marketing organization.
  • Schedule meetings.
  • Manage event planning process for quarterly sales team meetings, multiple sales-driven educational dinners and events (average of one per month).
  • Track and report on educational sessions and giveaways for sales, in accordance with Compliance department.
  • Collaborate with multiple vendors to order marketing giveaways and tchotchkes.
  • Maintain Hubspot database and execute Hubspot email campaigns.
  • Work with Finance department to manage invoices and monthly, quarterly, annual budget sheets.
  • Collaborate with graphic designer to create, develop and implement multiple marketing and sales materials that reach our client base throughout the year.
  • Create and analyze marketing reports through Shields Business Intelligence system for entire department.
  • Provide support for social media and digital marketing campaign as well as general maintenance of  and other Shields websites.
  • Help manage Shields media campaign including development of TV and digital ads as well as recording of schedule and invoicing.
  • Travel to Shields centers and locations throughout New England to attend meetings and events, as needed.
  • Process marketing related purchasing requisitions, check requests/invoices, and track all marketing communication estimates against billings.
  • Maintain sales territory zip code list.
  • Maintain Shields Express Link, logs, and project coordination.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Prepare and maintain folders, status reports for marketing team activities, and other administrative tasks as needed.
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • One year experience in an administrative or clerical role.
  • Excellent computer, telephone and typing skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others.
  • Experience in a marketing environment and with events helpful.
  • Willingness to work/coordinate off-hour events, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

Job Description

The pay range for this position is $18-$34/hr + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. It is not intended that this Job Description include all details of the work functions of this position. The incumbent will perform work of a lower or equivalent classification as required or directed, and work of higher classification for training and development purposes or as situationally warranted.
