Must commit to on‑call hours and have prior RN experience in a hospital setting. Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) in accordance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

• Assessment/Diagnosis – Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population or individual (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning – Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs (30%).
• Implementation/Evaluation – Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriate intervals; revises plan of care based on evaluative data (20%).
• Leadership – Participates actively in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance (10%).
• Operations – Focuses on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties (10%).

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio (or in good standing with the Ohio multi‑state compact)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of RN employment is preferred.
• Prior RN experience in a hospital setting; experience in Critical Care, PACU or Endoscopy preferred.
• Must commit to on‑call hours.
