Responsibilities
- Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
- Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
- Apply Patient Centered Care concepts as the foundation for nursing care.
- Oversee and guide employees under your supervision.
- Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred.
- One‑year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (adult patients).
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (pediatric patients), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (neonatal patients) as required by department.
- Other certifications as may be required by facility, specialty, or department.
- Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
