Nature and Scope

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care.

Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Location

We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971.

Compensation

Compensation for Non-Benefited, Per Diem Pay Scale

  • Base Rate: $60.61-$86.41 per hour
  • Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience.
  • Eligible employees may also receive shift differential and holiday pay.

  • Shifts are 12 hours, days/nights
Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current California RN license.
  • Current certification in CPR.
  • ACLS and PALS required to obtain within six months of employment.

Experience:

  • One (1) year experience working full-time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including but not limited to administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other health care providers and providing education to patients and/or significant others.
Responsibilities
  • Collects patient health data.
  • Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnoses/patient problems.
  • Identifies expected outcomes individualized to the patient.
  • Develops a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
  • Implements the interventions identified in the plan of care.
