Position Overview

The General Hospital Corporation Mass General Brigham  is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for its outpatient Pediatric Epilepsy Program, including the Herscot Center for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. The position is full‑time, daytime, and works with a small nursing team to support patients in clinic and through the THRIVE program.

• Two years of RN experience strongly preferred.
• Epilepsy experience strongly preferred.

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

• Education:
  
  Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licenses and Credentials:
  Registered Nurse (RN – State License) – generic.
• Experience:
  
  Clinical nursing experience 0–1 year required.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  Familiarity with principles and skills needed for practical nursing; knowledge of appropriate care for respective age groups; ability to maintain confidentiality; knowledge of medical terminology; excellent verbal and communication skills; ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.

• Hours:
  
  40 hours per week, Day shift.
• Pay Range: $41.72 – $105.65 per hour (grade GHCARN
  055).
