Job Details

Our organization is seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our Mobile Healthcare Community Team. This is a unique opportunity to provide primary care services to various communities, particularly those with limited access to healthcare. The role is full-time and permanent, offering the successful candidate an opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Mobile Family Nurse Practitioner, you will:

• Deliver comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population across various community settings.
• Conduct physical examinations, interpret medical history, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health maintenance.
• Address patients' emotional and physical needs, providing counseling and support when necessary.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Participate in community health education and promotion initiatives.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments, trends, and research in primary care and nursing.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Mobile Family Nurse Practitioner position will have:

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a community health setting.
• Experience in providing primary care services, including physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with and educate patients and their families.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership when necessary.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various community locations.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care to underserved populations.
