Job Description Summary
Full time (36 hrs/week), Night shift (7p-7a), eligible for weekend and shift differential. Provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. Accounts for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities and Duties- Assessment/Diagnosis (30%):
Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and/or individual. - Outcomes Identification/Planning (30%):
Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs. - Implementation/Evaluation (20%):
Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; as part of a multidisciplinary team, revises plan of care based on evaluative data. - Leadership (10%):
Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. - Operations (10%):
- BLS – Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
- RN – Registered Nurse, Ohio Board of Nursing
- State Driver's License
- CPR – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
