This is a 7pm - 7am, 36 hour per week position. Arbour Hospital is an important community resource for a wide range of vital behavioral healthcare services. We treat primary psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and constantly strive to meet the needs of our communities with treatment that address individualized behavioral health needs.

Our medical staff consists of psychiatrists who average 20 years of practice at our facility, providing a solid and trusted foundation for our patient-focused approach to behavioral healthcare.

We stand ready to provide compassionate care through inpatient treatment and a strong continuum of aftercare services, community-based programs, and day treatment.

Coordinate all admissions processes and serve as liaison to referral sources, families, payors, physicians, and hospital personnel involved with each admission. Process inquiry and referral calls and respond to request for hospital and program information, assessment, and possible admission. Verify insurance, triage patients, enter calls and admissions in computer and complete all admission paperwork with patient. Effectively communicate with patients, physicians, staff, and referral sources.

Qualifications Requirements Licensure:
Registered Nurse (RN) in state of Massachusetts

Education:

Graduate of accredited School of Nursing;
Bachelor Degree preferred

Experience:

1-3 years of experience preferred in psychiatric health care. Working knowledge of DSM-V diagnostic criteria, mental status exam, and addiction and recovery field. Other:
Excellent communication skills, i.e., verbal and written. Ability to prioritize; work well under periods of high stress and pressure. Ability to multi-task and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
