Lab Technician

Kelly Science & Clinical has a new temporary opportunity for a Lab Technician in Quincy, MA!

Temporary – 6 months
Shift: M-F 7am-4pm
Compensation: $25-27/hr

• Utilizing aseptic technique in a Biosafety Cabinet to process bulk human tissues per established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform quality control (QC) testing (cell counting and viability testing) of produced products and evaluation of tested parameters against established specifications and determining release for shipment
• Management and execution of Work Orders, Assembly Builds, Material Transfers, and Fulfillment tasks, including data recording and troubleshooting within Net Suite ERP
• Maintenance of consumable inventory (ordering, cycle counting, inventory adjustments in Net Suite, receiving, put away)
• Management of General Lab, Facility and Equipment Maintenance (Equipment PMs, Calibrations, repairs, etc.)
• Performance of controlled temperature packaging and logistics activities (scheduling, system entry, labeling) for Commercial (Fed Ex) and independent (local couriers) carriers. Customer service and vendor management
• Handling and disposing of biological waste
• Other duties as assigned

• 2 years of laboratory experience performing aseptic techniques for activities defined by written SOPs
• 1 year of experience in logistics and/or material management
• Excellent time management, punctuality and reliability
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
