Mobile Associate

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services, and they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are continuously evolving.

Job Overview

As a Mobile Associate, you will build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, provide a world-class experience, and develop relationships by helping customers resume their shopping journey, exploring individual needs, and demonstrating the latest technology. You will use digital tools to showcase coverage, explain plans, complete training on the in-store experience, and continuously seek new information about wireless innovations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain proficiency in customer service and sales while creating loyalty: assist customers in continuing their online or in-store journey, demonstrate technology, and personalize device and service solutions beyond basic plans.
  • Use digital tools consistently to compare coverage, highlight T-Mobile’s network strengths, and explain the benefits of unlimited usage. Complete training on the in-store experience, new skills, processes, and reference resources.
  • Collaborate with T-Mobile employees across channels to resolve issues, hand off small business leads, support team initiatives, and foster an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment (Required)

No. Hourly Base Pay: $20.50 plus $5.00 per hour training pay.

Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on-the-job training and hourly training pay. After completion, promotion to Mobile Expert allows eligibility for an annual incentive target of $18,000/year, with actual incentives varying by performance and full-time status. All employees earn a minimum of $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. Employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
