Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and grow strategic long‑term Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) customer relationships at executive levels.
  • Develop and execute customer business plans to maximize sales and margin growth within assigned IDN accounts.
  • Build and strengthen senior‑level relationships (VP/C‑suite) across purchasing, pharmacy, nursing, operations, supply chain, and other departments.
  • Ensure a positive experience for customers, navigate complex organizations, and expand influence among key decision makers.
  • Articulate Pfizer’s value proposition, assess messaging success, and revise strategies and tactics as needed.
  • Serve as the IDN senior‑level single point of accountability for issues, queries, and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Develop and execute strategies aligned with business unit objectives and strategic initiatives, adapting them based on market conditions.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with assigned IDN accounts and utilize resources to accomplish sales goals and support key customer objectives.
  • Provide strong internal leadership, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages accountability, ingenuity, and problem‑solving.
  • Manage customer contracts: analyze current contracts, identify opportunities to drive compliance, expand product portfolio, and secure favorable terms for new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales, Portfolio, Contracting, and Business Analytics to develop strategies and value‑add programs that enhance business and improve contract compliance.
  • Travel up to 40%–50% within the assigned territory and conduct out‑of‑town overnight trips as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of successful healthcare sales experience with proven results.
  • Demonstrated leadership of a sales team for at least 3 years or management of large accounts requiring internal senior leadership interaction.
  • Experience calling on and interacting with senior executives within large organizations, identifying key influential stakeholders.
  • Strong customer‑service skills with the ability to address issues promptly and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in Sterile Injectables or Specialty markets is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to influence and persuade others.
  • Solid business‑management, marketing, and financial analysis skills, including profit and loss analysis.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel and ability to draw logical conclusions from diverse data sources.
  • Excellent project‑management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and compliant driving record; ability to travel extensively.
Travel & Working Conditions

Requires 40%–50% travel within the assigned territory and occasional out‑of‑town overnight stays.
